Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

The Fairmont-Morgantown Housing Authority is seeking the position of Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. This position is the primary point of contact for all telephone communications and visitors to the Housing Authority. This position also provides clerical support to the Executive Director and key management staff, as well as oversight of the front office and a variety of office related duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Must have a minimum of a high school diploma, with a vocational or college degree a plus
-Excellent verbal, written, keyboard, organizational and office management skills
-Good to superior computer skills with the ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm, and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
-Strong organizational and filing skills
-Must be mature and have a professional appearance and demeanor
-Must have a positive attitude and flexible disposition
-Must be able to demonstrate reliable and prompt attendance
-Social media skills a plus
-Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug test, motor vehicle check and have a valid WV driver's license

Resident Commission Sought

The Fairmont-Morgantown Housing Authority will be accepting applications for Resident Commissioner.  The applicant must be a Public Housing or Housing Choice Voucher recipient in good standing, residing within the city limits of Morgantown.  The applicant must have a high school or equivalent education, be capable of understanding basic financial statements, and be available to attend monthly meetings in Morgantown and Fairmont.
